Jim is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1983. He is also a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming Fall 2000.

Areas of Practice

He specializes in cases involving brain injuries, defective products and sexual misconduct cases against schools, priests and others as well as employment related discrimination.

Jim uses a unique training and special skills in representing clients working closely with his wife Mary Ruth Mann, an experienced attorney and dramatist, in carefully developing a client’s story for trial. His objective is to learn how to tell the client’s story in a way that will allow jurors to feel and understand what happened to the client and how the client’s life has been changed.
